Central Asian Dance Series

In this 6-week series we will dive deep into Central Asian dance, music, and expression. The class will cover technique including hand & body positions, traveling movements, fast spins, backbend and drop preparation in a supportive and safe environment. Technique will be put together in a fun & fast Doira (Drum) Dance.

There is an optional performance on March 17th for a Norooz Celebration!

Price: 
$95 for the series (before 1/15)
$105 for the series (after 1/15)
$20 Drop-in (if there is space)

Belly Dance (Middle Eastern Dance) Classes

Wednesdays | 5:15-6:15pm
January 28th -May 1st, 2019 (No class March 27th)

This class is open to dancers of all different dance backgrounds and levels. Learn body isolations, shimmies, and basic layering techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Each day we will learn a short combination that will utilize the techniques learned in class

There is an optional performance on March 9th at 7pm for the YWCA’s Tour the World Showcase!

Cost: $12 for single class drop-in or class cards which bring the price to as low as $8.75/class
