Beginning Belly Dance Technique & Combinations
This class is open to dancers of all different dance backgrounds and levels. We will explore body isolations, shimmies, and basic layering techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Class consists of a full body warm-up, layering technique, across the floor movement, and finishes with a short combination.
Intermediate Belly Dance Choreography with Zills
(With optional performance opportunity at Underground Nomads March 6th and at the YWCA March 10th)
Class starts with a fast-paced warm-up and drills relevant to the choreography. We will then deep dive into Zill technique and patterns including 3's, Baladi rhythms, 4's, 7's, and more! The choreography is a fun Zill piece to an MWE song.
*It is recommended that you have more than 1 year of prior belly dance knowledge - There are zills to borrow for everyone!
