Central Asian Dance Series

Wednesdays | 7:30-9:30 pm
April - May 8th, 2019


In this 6-week series we will dive deep into Central Asian dance, music, and expression. The class will cover technique including hand & body positions, traveling movements, fast spins, and backbends in a supportive and safe environment. Technique will be put together in a fun & fast Tajik Khatloni Dance (also known as Kulobi style).

There is an optional performance at the conclusion of the class.

Level: This class is geared towards more intermediate level dancers but adventurous beginners are also welcome!

$95 for the series (before March 27th)
$105 for the series (after Match 27th)
$20 Drop-in (if there is space)

Belly Dance (Middle Eastern Dance) Classes

Wednesdays | 5:15-6:15pm

This class is open to dancers of all different dance backgrounds and levels. Learn body isolations, shimmies, and basic layering techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Each day we will learn a short combination that will utilize the techniques learned in class. For this 5-week session we will learn the basics of how to dance with a veil for the last 20-30 minutes of the class!

Cost: $12 for single class drop-in or class cards which bring the price to as low as $8.75/class
